At just 17 years of age, Anthony J.E. Stefanacci had already become an EMT and Junior Firefighter, excelling through trainings hosted by EMS & fire agencies, VOTEC Criminal Justice programs, and his County’s Sheriff Cadet Post. He was just a few weeks shy of graduating high school when he ended his life. Anthony was a shining light to all who knew & loved him; his smile lit up every room he entered. He has left behind his family & friends to carry his light forward - to continue his own tradition of generosity and acts of kindness towards others.
To inspire hope, promote education, and encourage access to mental health resources for firefighters, emergency personnel, pre-hospital workers, law enforcement, and those entering these professions through Junior Cadet, Junior Member, and Academy programs. We aim to build resilience, foster understanding, and create a culture of support across all career stages through education and mentorship programs.
We desire a future where all first responders feel supported in their mental health journey. We envision a world where seeking help is embraced as a sign of strength, mental well-being is prioritized, and every life within these professions is valued and protected.
We recognize the unique mental health challenges faced by first responders at all stages of their careers, supporting them with empathy and understanding.
We will help equip Junior Cadets, Junior members, Academy members, and active responders with the tools and education needed to prioritize their mental health and build resilience.
We partner with training academies, junior cadet programs, agencies, and organizations to provide accessible mental health resources and establish supportive networks.
We ensure that individuals of all experience levels—whether in training or active service—feel valued and have access to mental health support.
We maintain transparency, accountability, and dedication in advancing mental health awareness and suicide prevention within these professions.
We promote strength, recovery, and hope, helping to prepare new generations of first responders to face the demands of their careers with confidence and mental wellness.
We focus on early intervention, fostering mental health awareness among Junior Cadets, Junior members, and Academy members to reduce stigma and prevent crises before they arise without fear of retaliation.
